LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Life throws you curve balls.
I will be taking a short leave of absence. A family member of mine had an accident and after surgery will be moving in with me for a short time. I am going to take a short break from cupcakes (first time in 5 years) and focus on my family. Do not hesitate to call or e-mail me with any questions. I can refer you or I might be able to work in an order or 2, but I just do not know as of yet how this will all work:) Thank you all for your support!

Phineas and Ferb

I made invitations for her a couple weeks before the party.

 Mom! Phineas!
 Agent P, Ferb, Candace
 Phineas, Dr. D
 Jeremy, Baljeet, Perry
 The crew
 A few with "sayings"

Jack turned 8 and loves Phineas and Ferb. His mom and I talked about various ideas for the party and we came up with me making the invitations/cupcakes and she made some very cool games and experiments. Happy birthday Jack!

1st Birthday-Zane's Lil Monsters

one, two, three eyed monster mini's!

 Baby Z monster's
Suckers, fondant, gummy worms, sprinkles, taffy, you name it. Candy heaven!
Zane turned 1 and when I asked his mom what the theme was she said "we always call him, little monster". I liked making them colorful, fun and got to play with candy. Happy 1st birthday Zane!

Happy Birthday Mrs. Cabrera!

EPC-Ships Ahoy Nautical Pool Party Mother Son Event

 Pirate bananas
 Lifesaver scripture favors
 Sea/Nautical themed cupcakes

Food display-subs, goldfish, cannonball grapes, blue jello "water" with orange sales, pirate booty, shark fin punch. My planning partner Ashley helped purchase food and coordinate the lifeguard, evite, etc.

Bowls, utensils, etc all from the Dollar Tree!
 Ice cream cannonball sundae station
Ashley covered the bottles with a scripture
Glow sticks in cans.
Our church asked Ashley and I to plan a Mother/Son Event so had a pool party at her neighborhood pool. The boys didn't need any glow stick diving sticks or water balloons, the pool was enough fun!

Duck Dynasty

I made her a sign out of black foam board, camo duct tape and chalkboard pens.
Food table labels (wood grain paper on top of foam core)
 Signage
I made the boys invitations out of scrapbook paper, then sewed on burlap. Their mom and I came up with the wording. So fun!
Willie (Browning Buck tattoo hand drawn)
-I coordinated the 3 vertical cupcakes with the person. So Willie has a duck, red/white/blue bandana and his tattoo.

Si (Si put the Tea in Vietnam)
-Si had a quote, his cap and then his tea glass
Phil ("Now we're cookig with peanut oil)
-Phil had Miss Kay, a camo bandana and his patented duck call.
Jase ("Don't send a walrus to do a panther's job")
Jase had a duck, his black cap and frog hunting.
 It's a party Jack!
Jep didn't make this batch but if I am asked to do these again, I might need to add his "fancy dunking shoes"!
Ms. Kay ("Food is the language I know how to speak")
 All together
2nd box
 Si and Willie fondant
Fear the beard. Boys are 10 and 6!
 Faith Family Facial Hair
Hand drawn Duck Commander logo and fondant duck call
 Si and Willie hanging out:)
 Uncle Silas
 Willie
 Up close of Si
 Up close of Willie
Christy has a pool party every year for her son's birthday's and every year she plans it around a theme with games, food, etc to coordinate. This year Jackson and Anderson turned 10 and 6 and it was all about Duck Dynasty! I am a fan of the show and I was so excited she chose this theme (last year it was Lego Pirates of the Caribbean and the year before that Harry Potter found here on my site as well). This was a fun theme to work on and I am proud of the results. That's a fact Jack!
