Karate cake for Blake

Blake's mom asked me to do a karate cake. Here is a double layer vanilla cake with vanilla
buttercream covered in fondant to look like his jacket. He is a gold belt with 3 black stripes. Happy Birthday Blake!

Monkey-1st Birthday Caden

Blue vanilla monkies for the boys and pink chocolate for the girls. White ball of "dough" is the MMF in it's original form before color is added, it is rolled out and shaped.

Monkey cake for Caitlin and Cameron

Caitlin and Cameron are sisters who had their birthday party together and their theme was brightly colored monkies swinging through the vines. I had a monkey with a banana on his head, and another set that were trying to hang onto each other while trying to get more bananas! And a white chocolate 'C' on top! Happy Birthday girls!

1st Birthday Gibson

1st Birthday cupcakes with butterflies. The wings are made out of white chocolate. A "bug" platter, a birthday cake and a large cupcake smash cake with a purple winged butterfly on top!

1st Birthday Garner

Nursery is Dr.Seuss and being a December birthday, this little man's theme was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I often search for ideas and pictures on-line to jump start my ideas, but there were not any Grinch cakes out there! I decided to delve into the books themselves and draw it out on paper. The 1st level was spearmint leaf gummies spread out and cut to make into evergreens. The 2nd level was the Who-ville village made out of domino sugar cubes, sugar wafers and other candy. The top was a Grinch and Dog figure that I added a mazipan sleigh, gifts, rails, etc to finish it off. The cake is an optical illusion to make it look as though it is leaning.

Dinosaur

Dinosaur cake and dino cupcakes baked in ice cream cones. They are easier for little hands to hold (the pre-school teachers love them because they are less messy). The dino cake was red velvet (scary looking for a boy, of course!).
