Harry Party Birthday Party-Garner

Potion book, Harry's glasses, sorting hat, Hedwig, withches hat, wand.....
Quidditch broom, Gryffindor scarf, HP logo, etc....
4 Houses spelled onto Vanilla and Chocolate Peppermint cupcakes (birthday boy request).....
Candles projected on the ceiling and a treasure hunt was on the way!
Pin the tail on the Hypogriff. The birthday boy actually came up with this one:-)
Notebooks of the 4 different "houses" they were placed in according to the sorting hat.
Hagrid's dragon pinata.
Pouring the potion...
Pumpkin juice soda, pumpkin bark with gummy worms and "dragon blood" cookies (or holiday Oreo's!).
Potion tasting.
Table set up for the party...
Snake eyes and eyes of newt.
Lizard tongues.
Wizard hat chips and Professor Snape dip.
Pretzel rod wands and Hedwig on top of the castle.
Wands to make....
I bought a frog mold to make chocolate frogs like the ones at Honeydukes Candy Shop.
I made some wands for the kids to take out of paper, added hot glue and spray painted them brown.
My son turned 6 and wanted a Harry Potter birthday party. As you can see from above, I tried my best to have as many elements from the first book/movie that I could think of. He said it was a great party and all of his friends went home happy after a treasure hunt that ended at my version of Honeydukes Candy Shop with all kinds of candy imaginable to take home, so mission accomplished. Pretty good for a muggle:-)

Christmas 2010

Ashley wanted a dozen cupcakes for Christmas evening dinner. She asked for a Christmas tree, nutcracker, elf and a Santa. Merry Christmas!

Camping

Mini's to match in green, orange, brown.
Hudson turned 4 and had a camping themed birthday. It was cold that day so mom brought the tents into the dining room, dad grilled the hot dogs on the grill and they made s'mores on a s'mores maker in the kitchen. The take-home favor's were metal pails with trees carved into the top and she added each child's name to the outside with little flashlights and candy inside. Such a cute theme that mom carried all the way through. Happy 4th Birthday Hudson!

Super Mario Brothers

Mario and Luigi

Charlie wanted a Super Mario Brothers themed birthday. Each cupcake had one of the characters/symbols from the game. Just don't ask me what their names are, ask him:-) Happy Birthday Charlie!

Birthday-Christian's 20th

For Christian's 20th birthday he wanted white chocolate raspberry filled cupcakes. He is a student at KSU, plays drums, plays rugby and is an artist. Happy Birthday Christian!

Sleep over for Lucy

Lucy was turning 8 and had a sleep-over party with her friends. I made some pj's, slippers, a child in a sleeping bag and a night mask because she says "it makes you more beautiful when you sleep". How cute is that? Happy Birthday Miss Lucy!!!
